Position Summary

Manages the design and production of planned programs by establishing strategic marketing plans to achieve corporate objectives for products and services. Coordinates, implements and manages vegetable marketing communications plans and activities towards retail in the US to drive sales growth and profitability of SAH vegetables.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  • Manages development, production and distribution of promotional and collateral materials to support sales and marketing programs.
  • Develops and executes retail marketing programs to achieve corporate objectives and identifies opportunities to increase effectiveness.
  • Conducts marketing analysis and market research at retail.
  • Updates and maintains a consistent corporate image for retail.
  • Works with outside resources to develop strategic marketing plans to achieve corporate objectives for products and services at retail.
  • Oversees retail management plans and activities in US market, coordinating with sales, product management and supply teams.
  • Acts within scope of authority and consistent with company objectives and policies.
  • Assures a positive employee and retail relations position is maintained.


  • Minimum ten years Sales and Marketing experience in seed, produce or related industry.
  • Minimum of five years management experience required.

Knowledge / Skills Required

  • Must have outstanding analytical and writing skills. The writing skill level must be persuasive.
  • Must have excellent knowledge of retailer marketing and advertising. Must have a strong overall working understanding of the vegetable industry.
  • Must have the overall ability to use tact and discretion to achieve goals through others.
  • Must be knowledgeable of the fast moving developments in the sales field and vegetable industry.
  • Creative, strategic and conceptual thinker, able to translate concepts into practice.
  • Able to convince and motivate people.
  • Able to effectively work and interact within a multi-cultural environment.
  • Must be decisive, result-oriented, and innovative.


  • An undergraduate college degree in marketing, business administration, economics or finance or its equivalent in training and experience required. Masters degree in related discipline helpful.


  • Must be able to travel for long periods of time
