Bred for early flowering under short day conditions and low temperatures, F1 hybrid Sunflower Sunbright excels in autumn, winter and spring. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor production systems, this variety blooms 50 days from sowing under short days and approximately 70-80 days from sowing under long days of summer. As with all of Sakata’s sunflowers, Sunbright is a pollenless, uniflora type. Less susceptible to botrytis at harvest stage, this sunflower holds up extremely well in long distance shipping.
